'Suicide is a very serious problem in our society. Often people don’t realise they their friend, their relative, has a problem. They don’t realise until it’s too late.
Please, please, please encourage people to talk, it’s important to try to understand the problem they have and encourage them to seek advice. We’re not experts, we’re not professionals, but it’s a start.
The Tartan Talkers, Andy’s Man Club and the Dunfermline Men’s Shed are all first class organisations, full of great people who all have their own experiences.
Again, I repeat, it’s good to talk and it’s a great step towards sorting out any problems.'
